Please see below for a list of some of the most common procedures:

Teeth Whitening is one of the most common cosmetic dental procedures. It is a smile and efficient technique used by cosmetic dentists to help you achieve a bright smile within a very short time period.

Bonding is a technique that is typically used to fill in gaps between the teeth with a tooth-colored composite resin material. Bonding is typically used to fill in the gap between the two front teeth for a beautiful smile.

Enamel Shaping (Contouring) is the process of shaping your natural teeth to improve the overall look of your smile. Shaping is typically used to make minor modifications such as correcting overlapping teeth or uneven teeth levels.

Veneers are laboratory fabricated, porcelain facings t that are bonded to your teeth to close spaces, straighten teeth, whiten or repair chipped or worn teeth. Before a Veneer is attached a cosmetic dentist will shave off about 1 mm from the natural tooth surface (about the thickness of the veneer) so when the veneer is bonded to the tooth, the tooth doesn’t feel or look “thicker”.

Caps (Crowns) are traditionally reserved for cases that a veneer would not work as well. Teeth with severe fractures, large fillings or other issues may require a crown rather than a veneer. If you have questions on the difference please feel free to call Dr. Olono today and we would be happy to let you know all your options.

White fillings replace old colored fillings to give your smile a brighter, whiter color. Older fillings we typically silver or gold. Today, we can replace those fillings to make your teeth shine.
